As promised, we wanted to let everyone see the snaps of our 1st Birthday party and here they are, compliments of the lads at The Sample, well a snippet of the 1st Birthday event at our Liverpool Store on Harrington Street. We firstly wanted to thank all our good friends and customers who braved the ever unpredictable British weather and made an appearance to celebrate our landmark 1st Birthday. We enjoyed a fantastic evening with live music from THE LOUD and Johnny Sands while Amber Outside Catering kept us all well fed and watered with their amazing canapés.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and it was great to speak to everyone and get their thoughts on our first year in business, the becoming of Weavers Door was always focused about the birth of a menswear store offering the finest menswear apparel from “True Brands” who offer authenticity and quality which we believe in, the rich Heritage of our Brands is something that cannot be replicated, it is a history of skilled craftsmanship, exquisite construction and quality that we want to be able to tell the story behind them, and why we are proud to present them to our customers.

We are celebrating Weavers Door reaching the landmark of it’s first year in business and as part of the 1st Birthday party being held at the Store this upcoming Thursday we have the honour in presenting the Liverpool Band THE LOUD who will be performing live for us as part of the birthday party festivities. We are really excited for the birthday bash as our loyal and supportive customers along trade insiders, friends and family will be attending the event in collaboration with the English Heritage Brand that is Barbour.

But before we spill our pint of excitement we wanted to give everyone a little insight into the THE LOUD, who they are and what they do:

THE LOUD are a modern garage-glam band. Following on from their warmly received self released sampler in 2010, the band return this summer with their debut mini-album, Harris Shutter, via new Liverpool Independent Label, Payper Tiger Records. Produced by Psychedelic architect Ross Halden (Wild Beasts, The lucid Dream), the record has been mastered in Los Angeles by Light In The Attic Records in-house maestro, Dave Cooley (The Black Angels, Serge Gainsbourg). Lead single Amyʼs Gonna Get You (out on limited edition vinyl) is an infectious glam stomp, T Rex dusted down for 2011ʼs dance floors. The record comes accompanied by a sultry, seductive video shot by Dominic Francis Foster (following from his stunning productions for The Sand Band, Set Me Free, and The Suzukis, Reasons For Leaving), and a backlit dub remix, courtesy of Joe Edwards & Greg Mighall (formerly of The Rascals & The Little Flames).

It’s an absolute pleasure to be joining forces with THE LOUD to make a real fuss of us reaching the one year old mark and we are expecting a great evening to be had by all. The images of THE LOUD were taken by Barrie Dunbavin who can found here. Barry has worked in collaboration with the lads at Halcyon Magazine for a recent photoshoot of THE LOUD in the beautiful location of Port Sunlight. The full feature will be on Halycon Magazine soon so definitely worth keeping an eye out or two.

We recently held our "LOCK IN & LOCKS OFF" Pop Up Barber Event with our good friend Master Barber Cass kindly spending the day and evening offering his fine services to all. Situated in our Liverpool Store situated on Harrington Street, a stone's throw away from the Cavern Club, the world famous music venue where the Beatles performed in the early days of their career.

A big thank you goes out to all that attended the day and evening of the "LOCK IN & LOCKS OFF" as the event was great fun and enjoyable throughout, we have already have the next Pop Up Barber Event planned in the pipe line so please feel free to contact us at info@weaversdoor.com, call us on 0151-236-6001 or be kept up to date with the latest information on our facebook or twitter.
